SIZZLE REELS

I love working on sizzle reels. With most marketing jobs, especially client side, there’s often little room to take creative risks and have fun. And it’s true, sizzle reels are calculated and heavily scrutinized. But I’ve found that I get the most creative satisfaction our of working on these sorts of projects. I love brainstorming approaches, writing VO copy, and storyboarding.

I've been lucky enough to work on a few of them, so here are some of my favorites.

Capital One: In the Margins

During the pandemic, as companies shifted to remote and hybrid models, I was working for Capital One and virtual events were common place. In 2021, Capital One had an event with Spike Lee and Charles Barkley. And lucky me, I had the honor of creating the sizzle reel used to kick off the event and prime the minds of the attendees. I worked closely with the art director and animation team, and not only did we produce a stunning piece of art, but I also received compliments from both legends!

Written, produced, recorded, and mixed by yours truly.

Had to share the shoutout…

Adobe Acrobat: 30th Anniversary

For Acrobat's 30th anniversary, they asked us to create a video that paid homage to their history as trailblazers, while building excitement for the future of the company, and the exciting new technology to come.

I collaborated with an amazing team of designers and animators to bring this video to life, providing the copy and recording the voiceover.
